In ancestral times, it was a right of passage after birth for the new mother (nafsa) to be nurtured, nourished and honored for the full postpartum period, approximately 40 days and beyond. It is a special and yet very vulnerable period, for the mother. The family as a whole needs quite a bit of support after birth while mother and baby recuperate. In today's world we've lost these sacred practices of indigenous postpartum care. That is the objective of the birth worker to provide and create the sacred postpartum, while supporting a healthy recovery process. Unlike western traditions we honor the nafsa (mother). We do this through bodywork, nourishment and dua special prayers. Let me offer you that experience, so you can remember it for a lifetime. I also provide bereavement ceremonies for closure upon request. Whether you had a baby last month or many years ago. I invite you to have this sacred experience.
The closing of the bones ceremony is practiced in quite a few cultures around the world. It is a traditional ancestral ritual that women practiced after birth, which could be at any time, one month after birth or 20 years later. It is a beautiful practice that the Qabla's (traditional midwife) would practice on a woman to help her mind body and soul feel honored and restored. There is wrapping of the traditional kourzia woven cloths firmly around the body from head to toe. Then while this is performed with aromatherapy's either incense or essential oils, the tribal music of the Qabla's is played. There's also the option of silence and or dhikr and dua (prayer). Additional offerings of gentle womb massage arm and leg massage with oil is offered. This completes the first session of restoration and healing of the indigenous Moroccan post partum healing traditions. Then you'll sit and relax with a ceremonial nafsa Moroccan tea tray, or choice of milk and sweets.

Having Noor perform these traditional ancestral ceremonies was one of the most memorable moments of my life , it was such a blessing.
Noor came to my house with her beautiful supplies and an offering beyond what I could have imagined. The food was delicious as was the tea.
I took awhile to write this review after my experience. Noor came to my home to do the Moroccan hammam experience,
I had a hijama/cupping session done for the first time. It was a process and pleasant experience. Noor did an excellent job and made me feel at ease. I would definitely be seeking additional hijama therapy treatments. I highly recommend it. Thank you, Noor.
